Nolan Richardson
Nolan brings a relational, collaborative approach to therapy, drawing from different methods to meet each person where they are. He creates a steady, trauma-informed space where clients can pause, reflect, and understand what’s shaping their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, opening the way for clearer insight and meaningful change.
My name is Nolan Richardson, and I’m a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist based in Cardiff. I work with adults from diverse social, cultural, and educational backgrounds, offering sessions online, over the phone, or in-person. I am committed to making therapy accessible, inclusive, and supportive for everyone, including neurodiverse individuals and those who identify as LGBTQI+.
I use a relational and collaborative approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic theories and methods to tailor sessions to each person’s unique experiences and needs. I am also a trauma-informed therapist, ensuring a safe and sensitive environment for clients who have experienced distressing or challenging events.
Together, we will create a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. We will work collaboratively to address the difficulties or questions that have brought you to therapy, helping you build understanding, resilience, and positive change in your life.
I work in accordance with the ethical guidelines of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
